Grand River Technical School Students Compete at State - 9 Headed to Nationals!
April 2018

Over 70 Students from Grand River Technical Schools SkillsUSA Organization competed in over 150 competitions during Districts and State championships. Nine students took the stage to claim their first place finish and honors in order to compete at the National Championships in Louisville, Kentucky, in June, and over 20 Medalist walked on stage and earned top three medals. Grand River Technical School, the 16 area schools whose students attend GRTS, multiple communities and hundreds of family members and students were represented with honors and skills at SkillsUSA State Championships. Only 1st place finishers are invited to compete June 24th through June 30th. SkillsUSA students will now be busy finalizing competitions in preparing for Nationals as well as fundraising.
