What Could Your Future Hold?

The Collision Technology Program at GRTS prepares students to take advantage of the opportunities in many related areas which include:

  • Auto body repair
  • Auto body painting
  • Auto body estimation (shop supervisor)
  • Collision damage estimating (insurance)

Students attending either a 3-hour, 2-year or a 6-hour, 1-year course can get an intensive hands-on experience in repairing a variety of damaged vehicles. The work area is well equipped with an extensive inventory of power tools, as well as state-of-the-art frame equipment and painting facilities.

Students who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion, as well as 30 articulated college credit hours, with North Central Missouri College in Trenton, as well as other community colleges.

The program is coordinated with ASE and I-Car curriculum to prepare students for industry certification.

Earnings Can Exceed $37,000 Per Year

The I-Car Education Foundation states that the average yearly earnings can exceed $37,000 a year, including benefits such as paid vacation, health insurance, retirement programs, life insurance, and profit sharing. The more experience a technician acquires, the higher the possible yearly income.
