The Litton Agri-Science Learning Center was designed for the youth of Livingston County to learn more about agriculture as well as house their 4-H and FFA projects. In exchange for housing their projects there, the youth assist in the care and maintenance of the Litton Ag Campus.
Local youth sign a contract that states they will provide care for their animal and help maintain the Litton Ag Campus grounds. In exchange, they are allowed to use the facilities and livestock equipment.

Building

The Ag Power and Structures class at the Litton Agriculture Education Center
assisted in the construction of the improvement to the sheep/goat side of the livestock building at the Litton
Agri-Science Learning Center. The improvement was a concrete pad approximately 22' by 31' long, along with
new gates and fencing. Classes constructed the pens inside and out. The skills that the students are learning include concrete construction, welding, project planning, and work ethic. The skills learned will hopefully help them in some area around their own homes.
The Litton Agri-Science Learning Center was created for the Livingston County youth with an interest in livestock
who did not have the facilities of their own. All of the individuals involved with the Litton
Agri-Science Learning Center would like to thank Dewayne McCauslin for assisting with the planning and construction and the Liz Boon Memorial for funding this project.
